    Buying a new chainsaw

I would like to buy a chainsaw for smaller trees. I would like to know which ones do you have and would recommend to me.

    Really small?

Why just stihl ? Husqvarna is just as good but better priced
    I've got a 359 with a 45 cm blade and a 576XP with a 75cm blade and ripsaw chain
Both very good machines (before that I had a Stihl 311, I was not very satisfied with the machine)

    Do like the avatar :-)
    Met een hamer past alles...

I'm siding with Jurriaan on this: first find a good dealer in the vincinity that supplies one of the A-brands (Stihl, Husqvarna, Dolmar). There's not too much difference between them. I owned a Stihl MS 260 and I'm now running a MS261. For smaller trees any of the 50 cc saws will do, so don't be tempted into buying a - say - 70 cc monster that you'll have to lug around all day.
